A man who can slow the machines wrote the question down, answered it in full for the people who build them, and left your half of the page blank.

One week from now, ask them what changed. You will learn something about yourself inside their answer.
A conversation leaves evidence you can walk back into. That property is why the unit stays this size.

Thinking is about to cost nothing. Staying in the room while somebody says a true thing will cost what it always cost.
A machine will write the memo by morning. Someone still has to be the person who stays seated.

Here is where this could fail. The people with their hands on the pace may read none of it. I am building as though they will, which is what you did when you answered.
You wrote to strangers with no promise of being read. Everything here runs on that same move, repeated by people who keep making it.
Somebody will ask you this question one day, and you will want to have answered it already.
You have. Fifteen minutes, one person, their words carried back with their permission. Then they become the one who asks.
